1. Save mswmm file to WMV in Windows Movie Maker

A *.MSWMM file is not video file actually. It is a project file of Windows Movie Maker (some sort of a text file, there are not any video).

You have to open this file in Windows Movie Maker and save the movie to your computer: Go Finish Movie > Save to my computer. After that you will have a WMV file which can be converted to another video format or burned to DVD.

2. Burn Mswmm to DVD, Convert Mswmm to MPEG/AVI/WMV, transfer Mswmm to CD

After saving as a WMV file in Windows Movie Maker, just convert to other formats and (or) create DVD using video tools: capture, convert, transfer, enhance, burn movie.

1. Load an input file or files;
2. Choose an output format, for example click 'To MP4' for iPod video;
3. Select a preset you like;
4. Click 'Convert Now'.
If you would like to burn DVD, just choose 'To DVD' as the output formats. After converting, the software will burn DVD immediately. Remember to insert a blank DVD-R(W) or DVD+R(W).

You can also transfer Mswmm to CD, just click 'To DVD' first, and then select 'VCD' or 'SVCD' from 'Burn to'.
